Our patchwork quilts are made by hand from scratch. They are functional textile pieces that can be used as homeware and decoration.  

The fabric we used, either new, vintage or warehouse remnants, have been pre-washed, dried and pressed prior piecing together to minimize shrinkage and colour bleeding. Top quilt layer is usually made with cotton, linen, velvet or blended fabrics. Wadding is 100% cotton and each piece is finished with hand-tied cotton floss. 

+ Avoid direct sunlight
+ Spot clean with water/mild soap recommended
+ Remove dust with lint roller
+ Remove metal hanging eyes before a wash
+ Recommend hand washing - air dry after
+ Machine wash under 20°C with gentle cycle (~15min)
+ Recommend adding colour catcher for both hand and machine washing
+ Do not tumble dry

Ready-to-ship items will be dispatched within 5 working days of receipt of payment. Made-to-order/pre-order items will be dispatched after the lead time as stated.

Please note that customers outside of the UK are responsible for local duty charges or custom taxes imposed by the destination country.

Due to recent tariff changes, all orders are now shipped DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) - duties are covered before leaving the UK. You’ll receive an email with a separate payment link for the duty once your order is ready to dispatch.

RETURNS & REFUNDS 
We accept return requests for goods sold on our site ONLY for the following reasons: 
—　Good is broken; 
—　Good does not match description 
—　We have made a mistake with your purchase 

Refunds do not apply to the following goods: 
—　Bespoke commissions
—　Pre-orders
—　Sample & archive sale 

20% admin & restocking fee will be applied on all return & refund requests (conditions apply). Please note that wear and tear in the course of use by the customer is not considered as manufacturing fault or damage.

Refund requests must be made within 2 days of receipt. Please be aware that postage of returned items will be covered by the customer and we recommend using a tracked service. If good is lost or damaged during transit we are unable to take responsibility. Once we have received the item that is eligible for a refund or exchange, we will authorize the request via email and reimburse you within 28 days. PIECES.OTD reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet the standards outlined above.
