By placing and order with PIECES OF THE DAY, you agree that, whether personally or on behalf of and entity (“You”) and PIECES OF THE DAY (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”, “POTD”) concerning your access to and use of the website as well as other media forms including mobile site.
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to make changes or modifications to these Terms and Conditions at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by way of this webpage and you waive any right to receive specific notice of each such change. Please ensure that you check the applicable Terms every time you use our Site so that you understand which apply. You will be subject to, and will be deemed to have been made aware of and to have accepted, the changes in any revised Terms and Conditions by your continued use of the site at that time.
The information provided on the Site is not intended for distribution to use by any person or entity in any jurisdiction or country where such distribution or use would be contrary to law or regulation or which would subject us to any registration requirement within such a jurisdiction or country. Provided that you are eligible to use the Site, you are granted limited access to our Content for your personal, non-commercial use only.
PIECES OF THE DAY prohibits the use of its designs and images for any purpose on the Site and other social media platforms including Instagram and Pinterest without prior written permission from us.

We reserve the right to suspend, remove, modify, alter the Site at any time at our sole discretion without notice for operational, regulatory, legal or other reasons. We make every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours, features, specifications, and details of the products available on the Site. However, we do not guarantee that the colours, features, specifications, and details of the products will be fully accurate, complete, reliable, current, or free of other errors (e.g. mild scratches), and your electronic display may not accurately reflect the actual colours and details of the products. The hand crafted process of every pieces contains variations in terms of dimension and colour of material batches, thus may result in differences to product photos shown on any platforms of PIECES OF THE DAY to a certain extent. Dimensions of product stated on any platforms of PIECES OF THE DAY are approximate and slight variations would occur due to building resources, materials and process.
All products are subject to availability and are made to order. At times of purchase, items may be unavailable to purchase due to ‘out of stock’. We cannot guarantee that certain items will be in stock. We reserve the right to discontinue any products at any time for any reason. Prices for all products are subject to change.
PRICES, PURCHASES AND PAYMENTS
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of goods available on our Site.

We are under a legal duty to supply goods that match the description of the good(s) you order on our Site. We do not provide any redirect order services once the items have been purchased or dispatched.
By placing an order, you are creating a binding contract between you and Us. The Purchase Order must be paid in full immediately upon entry into the Agreement. You agree to pay all charges at the prices in effect of your purchases and any applicable shipping fees and additional costs and authorise us to charge your chosen payment provider for any such amounts, providing us with accurate, true, current and complete information. The contract will become binding once your order has been accepted and any changes thereon will be subject to our cancellation policy.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all the goods that are displayed on our Site at the time you access it. This includes all products listed as being out of stock. All information, descriptions, or images that we provide about our goods are as accurate as possible. However, we are not legally bound by such information, descriptions, or images as we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all goods we provide. You agree to purchase goods from our Site at your own risk.
We reserve the right to modify, reject or cancel your order whenever it becomes necessary. If we cancel your order and have already processed your payment, we will give you a refund equal to the amount you paid. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor your payment instrument to verify receipt of any refund.
By completing a Purchase Order, You are making an offer to purchase the product at the price set out in the Site. Payment must be made in full at the time of submitting the Purchase Order. All prices on our website are listed in British Pounds and are inclusive of VAT. Prices are subject to change without notice. Full payment is required at the time of submitting your order. At this time payment is accepted by credit card, debit card, Paypal and direct debit. You warrant that You are an authorised user of the credit/debit card or PayPal account used to complete payment.
All Purchase Orders placed through this Site are subject to confirmation and acceptance by PIECES OF THE DAY. Once your payment has been processed, you will receive an automated email confirming your purchase within a few days. PIECES OF THE DAY may reject Your Purchase Order for any reason and refund any payment made by You, at any time prior to dispatch.

All transactions are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card provider. When you provide us with your payment information, you authorise our use of and access to the payment instrument you have chosen to use, By providing us with your payment information, you authorise us to charge the amount due to this payment instrument. If the issuing institution refuses to authorize payment to us we will be unable to process your order and we will not be liable for any delay or-non-delivery of items as a result. Purchases must be made by the cardholder. Payment must be made via the Site electronic checkout; we do not accept cash or cheque payment. As our products are made to order, some factors may cause orders to be delivered sooner or later than estimated from date of order.
If you are an international customer, there may be some additional shipping costs payable before your order can be dispatched. We will obtain a shipping estimate before sending a secondary invoice for the associated costs. All sales are final and non-refundable so please contact us for and estimate prior to purchase.
If you are ordering from outside the United Kingdom, and your bank account or credit card is held in a different currency, you can still order by credit card - your currency will automatically be converted to GBP when you complete the transaction. The conversion rate varies from day to day with the current exchange rate. Many banks also charge a small currency conversion fee, contact your bank or credit provider for details. In some areas of the site, prices will be shown with an estimate of the price in your home currency. These converted prices are for information purposes only, to help you get an idea of the approximate cost of a product, and they may not be the exact amounts that will appear on your credit card statement. The final charge to your card is made in GBP and the ultimate conversion rate is determined by your bank or credit card provider. For this reason we are not able to take responsibility for the final amount charged to your credit card or PayPal account.
PROMOTIONAL CODES
From time to time PIECES OF THE DAY has special offers that can be applied to your order by using a promotional code that we provide to you. In order to take advantage of these promotions, you must enter the promotional code in the space provided during the checkout process and hit the "apply" button. The value of the promotion will be applied to your order automatically. Please note only one promotional code may be used per transaction. Unless otherwise specified each promotional code may only be used once per customer.
PROHIBITION ON RESALE
All orders from the Site represent an Agreement between PIECES OF THE DAY and You that you do not purchase for the purpose of using, selling or supplying them as part of a commercial practice. This includes using our products to advertise or promote your own goods or services unless prior written consent from us has been issued. Customers wishing to be a stockist of PIECES OF THE DAY products must contact us via email directly, where they will be informed of the options available to buy higher quantities. PIECES OF THE DAY reserves the right to limit the quantities of product sold as it sees fit.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
When you purchase goods from our Site, the goods will be delivered through one of the following methods depending on product type:
UK - Standard delivery by post. Delivery takes 5-7 business days;
UK - Courier service agreed by POTD & You. Delivery takes 7-14 business days;
International - Selected shipping provider. Delivery takes 10-60 business days; or
Other delivery methods agreed by POTD & You. Delivery time varies.
You will be required to pay delivery charges in addition to the price for the goods you purchase. All extra delivery charges follow the policy on our ‘Shipping & Return’ page stated on the Site.
Delivery will take place as soon as reasonably possible, depending on the delivery method selected. Delivery time may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Please note that delivery times do not include weekends and bank holidays.
You are required to provide us with a complete and accurate delivery address, including the name of the recipient and recipient’s phone number. We are not liable for the delivery of your goods to the wrong address or wrong person as a result of your providing us with inaccurate or incomplete information.
The shipping quote stated in ‘Shipping & Return’ page is applicable to door to door ground floor unit only. If your location is an apartment/office address of 2nd floor or above, please contact us prior placing an order if you would like an add-on door to door service at an extra cost.
For international shipping. As of January 1st 2021, there may be additional taxes and duties that are not included in the shipping price at checkout when shipping to countries within the EU and any areas outside of the United Kingdoms. PIECES OF THE DAY is not responsible for any customs fees or charges which are levied at the point of delivery. These customs charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.
IMPORT & TAXES
If you purchase goods from us for delivery to a destination outside the United Kingdom, your purchase may be subject to import duties and taxes applied by the destination country. You are responsible for paying any such duties or taxes. Please contact your local customs office for more information before making a purchase. We are not responsible for the payment of any such duties or taxes and are not liable for any failure by you to pay them.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
Refund requests must be made within 2 days after receipt of your goods from PIECES OF THE DAY.
We accept refund requests for goods sold on our Site only for the following reasons:

Good does not match description
We have made a mistake with your purchase
Refunds do not apply to the following goods:

Items from sample sale
Please note that wear and tear in the course of normal use is not considered a manufacturing fault or damage.
Returns can be made by mail or courier depending on product type. Please arrange a return by contacting us at pieces.otd@gmail.com for detailed procedures.
Once we have received the item that is eligible for a refund or exchange, we will start the refund process and contact you by email. You will receive the refund amount no later than 30 days to your original payment method once we have received the item.
Circumstances not stated in the above
If you have a change of mind and wish to cancel your purchase agreement with us and goods have already been sent to you, then you must return the goods, that needed to be in the original condition and packaging, to us as soon as possible after informing us of your decision to cancel. This kind of reimbursement can only be offered to customers within the United Kingdoms only. You will be responsible for arranging the return shipping and pay the associated costs. We will not be responsible for any damage or loss to the goods that occurs before they are returned to us, including while the goods are in transit.
If you cancel your purchase contract with us, we will reimburse you all payments we received from you under the contract, except the delivery costs of both original purchase and returned items. Any supplementary delivery charges resulting from your choice of delivery type other than the least expensive type of standard delivery that we offer is also excluded for the reimbursement. Administrative costs for this type of reimbursement, GBP15 and 10% of order total will also be deducted for the reimbursement. Please note that we are permitted by law to reduce your reimbursement to reflect any reduction in the value of the goods that was caused by handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
We will provide the reimbursement only when we have received the goods that you wish to return, no later than the earlier of 30 days after we receive back from you and goods supplied or 30 days after you provide proof that you have returned the goods.
We will make the reimbursement using the same form of payment as you used for the initial purchase unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You wil not incur any fees because of the reimbursement.
This right to cancel and to reimbursement is not affected by any return or refund policy we may have.
WEBSITE AVAILABILITY
From time to time down-time, either scheduled or unscheduled, may occur. PIECES.OTD will work within reason to ensure the amount of down-time is limited. PIECES.OTD will not be held liable for the consequences of any down-time.
PROMOTIONAL CAMPAIGNS
We run promotional campaigns, including giveaway, on our Website and Instagram in which we may ask for subscription email information and membership. The terms and conditions of each promotion is at the discretion of PIECES.OTD and are subject to change.
SECURITY
PIECES.OTD does not store or keep credit card numbers from online transactions. The last four numbers and the expiry date of your credit card number are kept for order verification and identification purposes only. While every endeavour is made to ensure every shopping experience with us is a good one, in the event a credit card is used without the holder's authorisation, the card holder must notify their credit card provider in accordance with their reporting rules and procedures.
CHANGES
By entering this Website you agree to these terms and conditions. From time to time, this Agreement will be reviewed and may be revised. PIECES.OTD reserves the right to change this Agreement at any time. Any such changes will be posted on this Site.
DISCLAIMER
This Site is provided on an as-is basis. You agree that you use of the Site services will be at your sole risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, expressed or implied, in connection with the Site and your use thereof, including and without limitation, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for particular purpose and non-infringement. We make not no warranties or representations about the accuracy or completeness of the Site's content and we will assume no liability or responsibility for any (1) errors, mistakes or inaccuracies of content and materials, (2) any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers and/or any and all personal information and/or financial information stored therein, (3) Any interruption of transmission to or from the site, (5) any bugs, viruses or the like transmitted to or through the site by any third party. We do not warrant, endorse, guarantee or assume responsibility for any product or service advertised or offered by a third party and we will not be responsible for monitoring any transaction between you and any third-party providers of products or services. We are the sole makers, sellers, providers and stockists of our products unless otherwise announced through our official mediums and therefore any orders must be placed via our official domain. We will not be liable for purchases made on any other platforms. As with any purchase of a product or service through any medium or in any environment, you should use your best judgment and exercise caution where appropriate. We do not take any responsibility for transactions made with any third party impersonating our brand or claiming to sell our products.
LIABILITY
PIECES OF THE DAY and our staff will not be liable for any actions, claims, loses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees from your use of the Site.
We constructed our products carefully and tested before any release to public customers with usage and care instructions as stated in our product descriptions and pages from the Site. Wear and tear appear on products sold by PIECES.OTD are recognised as normal usage experiences by customers, and we provide no warranty or responsibility in such cases. In terms of tiled pieces, building materials including but not limited to tiles, ceramics and woods are regarded as heavy and fragile item by their original nature. While under the purchase agreement, you should understand that impacted and improper use of tiled pieces would possibly result in damages and cracks within the products. We are not responsible for any misuse, mistreating, moving and handling by customers after purchase that cause damage to any injury including but not limited to strains and lacerations.

TERMINATION
PIECES.OTD reserves the right to terminate the agreement to supply products to you at any time before the purchase order are dispatched to you. PIECES.OTD shall not be liable to You for any cost, expense, or damages whatsoever for terminating this Agreement.
If the product has not been delivered to you prior to any termination of this Agreement, PIECES OF THE DAY will refund any payment that you have made prior to termination.
PIECES OF THE DAY may terminate the agreement under which you can use this Website immediately without notice if you are in breach of any term of this agreement.
